The Scandisk Cruzer Micro 16GB USB flash drive is the best USB flash drive for key chains according to how many people are snatching this one up. It is pretty small so you can definitely take it anywhere. It has a small hook on it to attach to any key chain.
One of the other things that I like about this flash drive is that it doesn't have a cap. I have several flash drives that the cap has simply vanished. It sucks. I guess I could just buy a couple of these and copy the data. But, I digress.
So, no caps. It has a retractable USB connector which prevents accidental breakage and prolongs the life of the drive. With this portable USB drive it's pretty easy to store, share, and play your favorites files.
The Scandisk Cruzer Micro allows you to easily carry and transfer key documents, pictures, music and video clips from one computer to another. The new retractable USB port eliminates the need for caps and protects your USB connector. This last feature is just as popular with the next one I'm about to mention.
One of the problems some computer owners have had with USB flash drives in the past is compatability with their Macs. Problem solved. Oh, another deal breaker that is all good with this one is its speed. Reviewers say that the speed is fast for a flash drive.
There are over 300 reviews at the time of this writing. Grab a drink and sit back if you have time to read them all.
There are other Scandisk USB products available. They have several hundred reviews as well. High marks too. They may be worth taking a look at too. The one listed above is however the bestselling USB flash drive for keychain at the time of this writing.

How long have you been searching for the best USB flashdrive for a keychain?
See results without votingWhen I was taking a look a this one it reminded me of the old school discs we used about ten years ago. At least I think it was ten, maybe longer. The floppy disk. The CD. Okay, I guess some people still use CDs to store and copy data, but the floopy disk?
Oh my. How far we've come. Try putting that on a keychain. One thing that really sticks out for me about those type of storage devices was how small the storage space was. At the time I worked in a financial aid office and we had to backup our data.
I remembered being frustrated to no end because I could not get everything that I needed stored on one disk. I think the error message was something to the effect of "Could not copy files - blah blah space issue". Not nice words (by me) followed.
I'm sure that that office is using more sophisticated technology these days. I wouldn't doubt it if everyone in that office now has a USB flash drive on their keychain.
