Large Cat Scratching Post

Your kitten has grown up. That little fluff ball is now a bit larger than you were told she would be, right? Oh, and did I mention that she is scratching your furniture like there is no tomorrow? You could never bear the thought of having her de-clawed so now you have to deal with the scratching in another way. A large cat scratching post might be the best solution.
The Smart Cat Ultimate Scratching Post appears to be one of the most popular ones out there. People are searching for this scratching post by brand name. That combined with the high Amazon.com rating seems to provide evidence that there just might be something to this particular scratching post.
We know that cats love to stretch. Actually, we could probably learn a few things from them. They also like to sleep a lot too. Okay, that's another hub. The Smart Cat is 32 inches high to allow Muffin to stretch vertically. This keeps her flexible and she can fulfill that need to mark her territory.
Its made from ...fibrous woven sisal that naturally inspires scratching and is sure to remain attractive and useful for years. Easy to assemble using the 2 included screws. Sturdy base measures 16 inches square to eliminate tipping and wobbling. Neutrally toned to fit any room décor.
READER POLL
Would a large cat scratching post put an end to most of your cat issues?
See results without votingAlright that sounds pretty sturdy and attractive. No ropey stuff here. When I had a cat we had a scratching post that was definitely of lower quality. I'd say one of my issues with the one we used to have was the tipping and wobbling which this one is supposed to be able to overcome.
A large cat scratching post needs to be of good height. Now, let's see how this one measures up. Bad pun, I know. The post is 32-inch high. That's pretty high.

- 32 inches high to allow cat to stretch vertically

CONS
Is there anything negative about this post? Well, that's for you to judge. The reality is that not every single cat on the planet is going to love this scratching post. There are no absolutes in life not even in kitty life.
Some cats won't use posts no matter how much cat nip you use to entice her to check it out.
